Why We Love Al and Alma’s

Al and Alma Quist founded their supper club in 1956. By day Al was a firefighter and the mayor of Island Park, and at night he cooked. The family still runs it today.

Expect classic supper club hospitality, lake views from the windows and deck, and a public dock for boaters. Al and Alma’s also runs the lake’s original fleet of charter and dinner cruise boats, departing from the supper club, Excelsior and Wayzata.
