Why We Love Cheesecake Funk
Owner Vanessa Drews worked at Paisley Park in 2013 and kept Prince’s fridge stocked with her cheesecakes. He loved the turtle, posted about it and even called it CHEESECAKEFUNK on an invitation, and the name stuck.
After years of baking in a rented kitchen, she opened her first shop in 2025, seven minutes from Paisley Park on Highway 7. Cheesecakes come in classic and seasonal flavors, mini or full-size.
